Riaan specialises in Labour Relations & Law, and Appropriate Dispute Resolution. He appears at the CCMA, Bargaining Councils & Labour Court, and often presides in disciplinary hearings. Riaan also lectures at the University of Cape Town, School for Legal Practice as part of training for candidate attorneys in Labour Dispute Resolution and Appropriate Dispute Resolution. He is registered with the Law Society of South Africa as Education, Training and Development (ETD) Practitioner as part of the Legal Education & Development Programme accredited by SASSETA.

Francois holds an LLM degree in Labour Law from the University of Cape Town. He has been admitted as an attorney in 2012 after having completed his articles in conjunction with the University of Cape Town’s School for Legal Practice.
Francois has experience in commercial, criminal and labour law. He has also served in an advisory capacity to the HR and Operational Departments of one of South Africa’s major banks, with specialisation in employee relations.
Combining his major in economics with his legal expertise in labour, he has a holistic approach to business and people management. Francois is passionate about business optimisation and ensuring that employees achieve maximum performance. To this end he has been involved with drafting policies and processes to ensure the desired outcomes for various companies.

Johan specializes in Strategic Management and Strategic Thinking, Financial Management for Non-financial Managers and developing Executive and Management Development programmes. He lectured full-time at the University of Stellenbosch Business School in the above subjects. He has also developed management development programmes for a whole range of large companies in SA, such as Sanlam, Anglo American, Sasol, Nedcor, Old Mutual, Naspers, Ceres Fruit Juices, APL Cartons, Trans Hex, to name but a few.
Johan served as CEO for the USB Executive Development, a public company created by the USB to run executive and management programmes on a focussed basis. Thereafter he was the MD of a small to medium insurance underwriter, KGA Ltd. He has a passion for teaching and coaching.
Johan currently serves as the Director of the NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies in Singapore, where his mandate is to increase the knowledge levels of the Singapore business community about Africa and its business potential. He also teaches international business at the Nanyang Business School, Singapore. He has published numerous articles on Africa, and also writes for the Institute for Futures Research at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
