MARKETING / PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

Introlab (Pty) Ltd is a South African based input manufacturer and distributor of products for horticultural and field crops. Introlab focuses and invests in the development of well-researched and advanced crop solutions and formulations by implementing the latest technology to provide farmers, both in national and international markets, with a dependable lab-to-land crop solution. The successful incumbent will report to and assist the Marketing Manager to grow and develop the Introlab Brand.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, organizing and coordination of all marketing and liaison activities and events (trade shows, agent training days, farmer days, excursions, year-end functions)
- Management and administration of marketing /PR budget
- Order and inventory management of all marketing material
- Determine needs for promotional items and suppliers
- Managing social media platforms, website, newsletter and advertising
- Designing corporate communication material
- Maintenance of central information lists and databases
- Labels (quotes, orders, proofreading, coordination with printers, compliance with Global Harmonisation System)
- Liaison with laboratory personnel and regulatory officers
- Assisting with the compilation of Certificate of Analysis (COA) of products
- Coordinating diaries and meeting schedules of directors and Marketing & Sales Manager
- Responsible for agendas and minutes at Exco and board meetings
Requirements:
- Matric certificate with Life or Physical Science will be a recommendation
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing / PR
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Advanced computer literary
- Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
- Well-rounded personality with neat appearance
- Creativity and a flair for design
- Willingness to go the extra mile
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel country-wide
A market-related remuneration package, in accordance with qualifications and experience, will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.
