The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Silwerkruin facilities, the implementation of the business strategies and the day-to-day functioning of all Silwerkruin operations to ensure that all residents are provided with the highest level of care.  The successful candidate will report to the Governing Body

Responsibilities:

  • Executing overall strategy in order to ensure the sustainability of Silwerkruin
  • Professional liaison with all relevant stakeholders, including the Department of Health, Department of Social Development and the ACVV
  • Operational management of Silwerkruin i.e. patient care, compliance, fundraising, general household, personnel management and licencing
  • Leadership and management of a large personnel corpse
  • Oversee and manage all applications, placements and related matters
  • Networking and building of relationships
  • Reporting to the Governing Body

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Proven knowledge and experience in management at a similar facility
  • Practical knowledge and experience regarding fundraising, finance, HR and operational management
  • Experience in liaison/negotiation with stakeholders
  • Knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations which govern the industry
  • Strong ethical value system
  • Well-developed emotional intelligence with specific reference to empathy, resilience, adaptability and service orientation

 

A market-related remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, based on experience, skills and competencies.
