Joubert and Associates is a specialist HR services and Organisational Development consultancy firm. Our small team consists of specialists in the HR, OD, Industrial Psychology and Labour Law fields supported by an experienced administrative team.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented person to join our admin team. This is an ideal opportunity for a tech-savvy person with outstanding bilingual language skills (English & Afrikaans) as well as excellent computer proficiency. Responsibilities will include:

  • Editing professional documents (proofreading, checking spelling, grammar and technical correctness)
  • Modifying layout of complex documents
  • Managing and maintaining the company’s digital marketing (social media pages, newsletter and website)
  • Secretarial / administrative duties in support of senior staff members (organising, diary planning, problem solving, etc.)
  • Relief at reception / switchboard and general office administration

The ideal person will meet the following requirements:

  • Advanced technical knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent editing skills
  • Outstanding professional communication skills, preferably English home language with an excellent language capability in Afrikaans
  • Above average interest and competency in social media
  • Ability to function well within a small team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to function well under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Good administrative skills
